CONTACT LENSES FOR KIDS
CAN MY CHILD WEAR CONTACT LENSES?
The short answer, is yes!

We fit contact lenses for children of all ages. Some children need correction for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism (or a mixture of both!)
​
We also fit contact lenses for very small infants who are in need of contact lenses for a condition called pediatric aphakia. For more on this condition click here.
DO THEY NEED TO BE A CERTAIN AGE?
There is no age requirement to wear contact lenses!
The only requirements are that your child is motivated to wear contact lenses, mature enough to take care of the lenses, and can insert and remove the lenses themselves (or in cases such as certain special needs children, parents can insert and remove lenses for the child.)
